The Southern Truth

It’s always a good sign when others want to build on your solid foundation. Yes, it is real good. It proves that you have a solution that works. When trouble comes, with all the noise from naysayers, the evidence will show: the foundation was solid, and it wasn’t just for show. This is what Aisha L. Thompson, Angela Allen and Dionne Faulk can attest to—and more. These sisters, I must say, are the ones who have set the record straight with their efforts to build Inglewood, and this is a blessing. The Lord knows it shows.

These three are faithful and fiscally responsible. In her role as Deputy City Clerk in the City of Inglewood, Angela Allen has never been caught in any wrongdoing. She serves the citizens of Inglewood with unwavering faith because she is a woman of righteous integrity. Take some time to see for yourself—she is approachable and a dedicated worker down at City Hall. This is the hub of the City of Inglewood’s administrative offices. It’s where the mayor works, ensuring that the city remains financially sound, not dependent on welfare or on the verge of bankruptcy as it once was. If I recall, most of the political leaders now still in power were aware of the city’s past struggles but acted as if they didn’t care.

Now, with Mayor Butts and his committed team, including Angela Allen and Dionne Faulk, others are trying to cause trouble by sending emissaries to disrupt the fiscally sound foundation they’ve built. This is asinine. It’s the very reason why many other communities, unlike Inglewood, lie in ruins. I pray that the good, intelligent people of Inglewood won’t be fooled by the trickery, deceit, and divisive tactics aimed at undermining the current proven solutions of Mayor Butts and his qualified administration. Under the leadership of City Clerk Aisha L. Thompson and her trained, competent staff—including Angela, who is currently handling the city’s financial and investment reports—Inglewood is thriving. This is evidence of Angela’s work, not just talk, and she is seeking your vote either ASAP or on November 5, as is Dionne Faulk, who is seeking re-election to District 4.
The same can be said for Faulk. Like Angela, she has proven herself through action, not empty words, as some may suggest in their slate mailers or social media posts. Trying to build on someone else’s solid foundation, like the one in Inglewood, is suspect. It’s best to stick with what you know rather than fall for a political charade. Vote for the evidence of the walk, not just the talk. Support Angela Allen for Treasurer and Dionne Faulk for District 4, City Councilwoman.
