Raven Bowens (Days of Our Lives) and the Keturah Hamilton Foundation produced a Black-Tie Gala on November 6 at The Velvet Martini Lounge in Studio City that raised $10,000 to rebuild the ADC Grammar School in Nigeria and additionally raised funds to aid survivors of the recent devastation caused to Jamaica by Hurricane Melissa. The evening included a cabaret concert with performances by Tabyana Ali (General Hospital), Kevin Spirtas, Carson Boatman, Lindsay Arnold (all three from Days of Our Lives), Joey Marie Urbina (Snowfall), Thomasina E. Gross (Hairspray Live!), Stella Pecollo (Dedalus), Dan White Barbershop, Nigerian singer Donna Adja, with instrumental backup provided by Eli Baumgarten and his band. Source: Philip Sokoloff
