INGLEWOOD—Los Angeles Justice Care Opportunities Department—widely known as JCOD—showed up strong on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 8AM to 6PM at the world-class WePlay Studios in Inglewood. It was a day overflowing with resources, information, hope, and real support for individuals and families seeking a better path forward. Crowds filled the venue for the 2nd Annual Together We Thrive Summit & Festival 2025, a celebration of community empowerment and reentry success.

And once again, Inglewood proved why it is one of the fastest-growing and most forward-moving cities in Los Angeles County. A major reason the day ran so seamlessly was the powerful partnership between WePlay Studios and Faithful Central Bible Church. With Faithful Central providing essential parking and logistical support and WePlay delivering its cutting-edge production environment, the festival became a shining example of how business, media, and the faith community can come together in Inglewood to lift the entire region.
A Powerful Panel on “The Road to Safer Communities”
One of the day’s highlights was the justice reform panel featuring key leaders in law, policy, and public safety. The discussion brought law enforcement, justice advocates, and policymakers together to speak directly with the community about safety, rehabilitation, and reentry support. Throughout the panel, speakers underscored the importance of collaboration, compassion, and community-centered approaches to public safety. The audience received clear answers, genuine engagement, and a strong sense that their voices mattered.
Community, Creativity, and Second Chances
The festival expanded far beyond panel discussions. Attendees enjoyed:
- ¨ Free food and haircuts
- ¨ Expungement and record-clearing services
- ¨ Career and education resources
- ¨ Free laptops for eligible reentry participants, courtesy of Delete The Divide
- ¨ A holiday Toy Drive to support local families

The booths stretched from the Amity Foundation to Military Veterans Affairs to Metro and many others—all staffed with people ready to help. And the creative community showed love too. The energy inside WePlay Studios was electric—conversations, laughter, resource-sharing, and genuine unity flowed all day long. Lives were touched. Futures were redirected. And hope felt real.
