Inglewood Celebrates National Voter Registration Day

INGLEWOOD—Voting is pivotal to our Democracy and before anyone can vote in elections they are required to have registered. Because of this important matter, Inglewood City Clerk Aisha Thompson, recently hosted a National Voter Registration Day to educate and inform residents about the importance of registering to vote. This nonpartisan civic holiday in the U.S. is creating broad awareness of voter registration opportunities and celebrating democracy. It was success that included Mayor James T. Butts, a host of Inglewood elected officials and California State Senator Steve Bradford.
